Accompany volunteer physicians in providing outpatient medical care to Wichi communities. Living in an area that is difficult to reach, supplies and medical care in this region are scarce.
How We Work
Started: Dic 05, 2016 – Finished: Sep 19, 2017
Main Goal:
Provide travel funds to support the volunteer doctors
Cooperation model:
Marita Solidaria raised funds and helped recruit volunteer doctors together with the Deuda Interna Foundation. The money raised was used to purchase medical supplies. Transportation costs were also covered.
Destination:
Wichí community, located in the province of Salta, department of San Martín, municipality of Embarcación, Argentina.
